Tournament
Report
Austria
is his favorite travel destination,
but the final table of Omaha
High/Low Split is his successful
poker destination, as 4 out
of 4 final omaha tables were
first place wins for Peter
Brownstein, our 1st place
finisher today. This retired
financial planner wasnt even
going to play in this event
because he feels stud is really
his game, but he was coaxed
into it by a friend.
A
lover of travel and the opera,
Peter would visit Europe once
a year to play tournament
poker. Very competitive in
sports, he likes basketball,
baseball and tennis. Peter,
you belted out a big win and
your play was quite in tune
here at the USPC!
This
years USPC has seen a number
of firsts, the player roster
bursting with fresh talent.....first
time tournament entries, first
time wins, and today is a
first time tournament for
Gary Harmon, the 2nd place
finisher. Congratulations
on your tournament experience!
He
loves that old time rock and
roll and of course, omaha.
In the midnight hour, Ben
Grizzaffi, software engineer
signed on the USPC label and
the result was a 3rd place
finish in todays Omaha High/Low
Split Event. Football and
trips to Vegas are pleasures
to Ben, but forget about it,
next year hes going to Italy.
This poker revolution is producing
pure classics!
Live
via satellite, Mitchell Big
Red Katz entered todays
tournament with a voucher
he won playing a single table
satellite, and broadcasted
a 4th place finish. Big Red,
the Hedge Fund Trader from
NYC, also has a big heart.
Volunteering with Canines
for Independence, Mitch trains
dogs such as Vito, his lab/retriever,
to assist those with special
needs.
There
is a steam train tempo in
the room..getting louder and
faster as the championship
events draw near. Dont miss
the ride!
