Tournament
Report
11
times all in, but John Hom,
defending champion of this
USPC Limit Holdem Event maintains
his title, reigning for another
year . Go ahead John, strut
down the catwalk wearing the
USPC tiara and enjoy your
moment in the spotlight. John
picked up a trophy at the
World Series, a gold bracelet
for the $3000 Limit Holdem.
A reputable soil engineer,
yes, however, Johns profession
al colleagues make mention
of his poker accomplishments
at their staff meetings. John
has proven to be a successful
candidate in the poker pageants,
you know, he has that certain
look...that poker face. Johns
response to the panels final
question is...never give up.
And the crowd cheered....show
us your chips!
Scrapper
is a nickname he got from
high school football, but
Greg Fondacaro fought this
game hard, to the 2nd place
finish. Last year Greg sat
in five final tables and in
1999, Greg was the Championship
Stud victor. Owning and operating
a successful sitework construction
company, Greg is also the
father of two sons and his
wife Donna is presently expecting
their third child. The family
enjoys their summer home in
Sea Isle with their black
lab, Toby. Scrapper, it looks
like youve tackled this poker
game pretty well. Were proud
to have you on the USPC team!
Deja
vu, already been seen were
the same final three players
just yesterday in the No-Limit
Holdem super satellite, and
yet to be named is Frank Russomanno.
No Frank, its not just your
imagination once again, running
away with you, you did place
3rd in todays Limit Holdem
Event. A CFO of an environmental
company, Frank enjoys poker,
motown oldies and traveling,
preferably the Caribbean islands.
We hope your success today
at the USPC will take you
on a sentimental journey.
