Tournament
Report
The
poker beast is growing in
the east! About 2 months of
practicing on tournament software
prepared Brian Giordano for
todays No-Limit Holdem event.
At 11:00am, Brian was a $5-10
Holdem player from the Taj
and by 11:00pm, the captor
of 1st place in this prestigious
event. Quite an accomplishment
for this network administrator!
Contributing to Brians inspiration
is his 3 year old son Travis,
and Debbie, brid Travis na
Sharing his future bride,
who stood right by him throughout
the entire event. The couple
is planning an April wedding
and todays winnings will
send them on a very nice honeymoon
cruise. Best wishes!
This
management consultant had
a cheering section of his
own, consisting of his poker
buddies and golfing companions.
Richard Pannells 16 year
old son is an aspiring holdem
player, who today will be
very proud of his dad, especially
because this is his first
tournament and he wrapped
it up with up with a strong
2nd place finish.
Ladies
and gentlemen, placing 3rd...
a real crowd pleaser and one
of Tajs own well liked and
well respected holdem players.....Robert
Armstrong. Not only does Bob
work two full time jobs, operating
his own embroidery business,
but he has been playing poker
as a hobby for about 5-6 years.
Bob has been in about 4 tournaments,
but none can compare to the
USPC No-Limit Holdem and
the monster pot he won with
a pair of sixes! Kick back
and take a day off Bob, you
deserve it!
